Futura moves the dance research, creation, production and touring by Clarice Lima (CE/SP). Choreographer, director, teacher and dancer, Clarice lives and works in São Paulo where she develops partnerships and creative strategies to produce her works on an ongoing basis. Her dance education includes the Colégio de Dança do Ceará (2002-2008), Folkwang Hochschule (2002 – 2003), graduation from the Modern Dance Department (MTD) of the Amsterdam School of Arts (2003 – 2008), the intensive 50 Days Flying Low and Passing Through Costa Rica with David Zambrano (2010) and the artistic residency Lote with Cristian Duarte (2011-2018).

Her works move between dance, performance and visual arts, between audiences, children and adults, which we can mention Woods (2022), Wild Loose (2019), Supernothing (2018) and Dance Hurts (2013). Clarice's trajectory is marked by an intense artistic production, having been contemplated by awards, participated in the main contemporary dance festivals in Brazil and abroad, in countries such as Belgium, Chile, Slovenia, Spain, Greece, England, Lithuania, Portugal, Republic Czech, Sweden and Uruguay.

She’s interested in bringing people together through artistic practices, imagining contexts of creation, production and presentation in dance in the cities of São Paulo and Fortaleza, in addition to systematically carrying out workshops, laboratories and dance residencies, aligning her artistic practices with her pedagogical skills.
